I believe...in God's Holy Church, the communion of Saints...
The church is holy and the people become holy when we come to be set apart from the world and devoted to God. Ephesians 4:1-16 tells us the importance of unity within the body of Christ. Following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. So if we don't participate i the life of the church we will not fulfill all God has in store for us. The church is God's, the enemy will never conquer it!
We hope this message serves you well.

I believe in the Holy Spirit.
Our effectiveness as Christians and our strength as a church is directly related to our relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit makes it possible to be in fellowship with God the Father.
We hope the message serves you well!

...and He will come to judge the living and the dead.
2 Timothy 4:1-5 tells us as Christians that we should be ready to tell people about Jesus, even if we see it as inconvenient. Our responsibility is to love people enough to share life with them.
We apologize; we did not record "He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father."
We hope this message serves you well!

...He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again;
Sometimes we need to tackle the sticky subjects; Jesus descending to the dead is sticky. 1 Peter 3 gives us a glimpse of the time between death and resurrection. Jesus wants to shine some holy light on the dark places in your hearts, because sin and death can't hold Him back!
We hope this message serves you well!

Suffered and Died

...suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
John 18:33-38 tells of Jesus' account with Pilate, asking Jesus, "What is truth?" then walking away before Jesus would answer. The truth of why Jesus came to die is because we have a sin problem. "Once we grasp the gravity of sin and its destructive power, we will better understand god’s holiness and the work of Jesus on the cross." -RC Sproul

Conceived and Born

...who was conceived why the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. Christianity rises or falls with the uniqueness of Jesus. Oftentimes people can't agree on a virgin birth, but still believe in a resurrection. What if we told you ALL of Jesus' life, from prophecy to ascension, was unique...and it HAD to be! We hope to message serves you well.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only son, our Lord. Who do you say Jesus is? Is He the Lord, Savior, Messiah, or just another guy? As a Christian, we believe Jesus is the Lord and we can only serve 1 master; Jesus or something else.
We pray this message serves you well.
The song at the end is "Run Devil Run" by Crowder.

This week we begin a new series on The Apostles' Creed! "I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth." What we believe calls us to action. God's fatherhood is not limited to our experience with our earthly father, no matter if it is good or bad!
Thanks for listening today!

The Lord will fight for you!

Good news: God is on your side! Exodus 14 gives us a glimpse of how God wants to fight for us, that we don't have to go alone. After we drop our stones (last week's sermon) the spiritual battle begins for our minds and hearts. More good news: we are guaranteed victory through Christ if we put own the armor He provides for us!

"Neither do I..."

In John 8, Jesus meets a woman caught in sin. Oftentimes we take it upon ourselves to condemn, belittle, berate, etc someone who is not perfect. In the bible days, it was custom for the community to cleanse itself of sin but Jesus made the point that imperfect people drop their stones. Do we drop our stones or do we throw them with all our might?
Thanks for listening today, we hope this message blesses you!
